The Weston Volunteer Fire Department was chartered in 1921 and exists to provide fire protection, rescue, education and service to the citizens of Weston and Lewis County. We proudly continue to provide these services to our community into the Twenty First Century with the same commitment as our forbearer’s did back in ’21.

The department is led by an officer corps consisting of the Chief, one Deputy Chief, 3 Assistant Chief's, three Captains and three Lieutenants. The Chief, Deputy Chief and the three Assistant Chief’s are paid employees of the City of Weston, but are also volunteer members as well. The Captains and Lieutenants are all seasoned volunteer members who meet all state’s requirements of fire ground officers. The remainder of the department numbers 29 active members. Included in this number are one Retired Chief and two retired Assistant Chiefs. Additionally, we have three members whose individual service exceeds 50 years each as members of the department.

The department is located at 321 Center Avenue, Weston West Virginia. Our motto is “One the Job till the Job is Done!”.
